The Employee/Wage Upload screen is to provide a way to upload Employee information (i.e. SSN, Name) and wage information from a .csv file format. Any errors occurring on the file being uploaded will be posted in the LIST OF ERRORS IN UPLOAD FILE box and the employer will have a chance to correct these. The file being uploaded will not give an option to save until all errors have been corrected in the file.
This screen has the following sections:
EMPLOYER
UPLOAD INFORMATION
LIST OF ERRORS IN UPLOAD FILE:
This section displays the FEIN, UI Account Number, and Business Name for the selected Employer. The information is not updateable, it is display only.
FEIN field
WOW displays the FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number) of the selected employer.
UI Acct No field
WOW displays the Montana UI Account Number of the selected Employer.
Business Name field
WOW displays the Business Name of the selected Employer.
Choose CSV File to upload
This section displays an empty box with a browse button next to it. This browse button will allow you to browse the files on your PC and choose the CSV file that needs to be uploaded into WOW. Once this file has been chosen, press the Upload Now Button.
Browse button
This button is used to browse the files on the C, D or A drives on your PC to select the correct CSV file for upload.
Upload Now! Button
This button is used to upload the chosen file to WOW. When you are ready to upload the file, click on the Upload Now! Button.
This section displays any errors contained within the CSV file. It will give the line number and the reason that the line errored out. To fix this information, re-open the original CSV file, fix the error, save and try to upload the file again. Once the file uploads and is accepted, you will be allowed to choose the quarter and year the wages belong to. Press the Save button to save uploaded wages.
