Welcome to the
Unemployment
Insurance Division
"Quality Service by Caring, Dedicated People."
The newly passed federal extension effective November 8th will be available to claimants whose benefits exhaust prior to December 26, 2009. Potentially eligible claimants will be notified by mail or email. Claimants currently in a filing status should continue to file bi-weekly claims for payment. Claimants who have exhausted their benefits or have quit filing for other reasons should reactivate their claim online at UI4U.mt.gov. This will avoid any delays in additional benefit payments.
Internet access to UI4U.mt.gov is available at local Job Service offices and libraries. You may also call the Claims Processing Center, however lines are extremely busy and if you can file online it will be easier and faster for you. Thank you for your patience!
